A king signs away an entire people because one man in his ear told him what to believe, and he never asked a single question. In Esther 3, Haman’s wounded pride turns into a plan to destroy every Jew in the empire, and King Xerxes approves it without checking a single fact. God isn’t mentioned once in the chapter, yet He governs every line of it, right down to where the lot falls. This week we look at how pride grows out of proportion, how half-truths about people take hold, and why the voices we listen to matter so much. Most of all, we meet the One who knows every sin we’ve committed and still speaks in our defense: Jesus, our Advocate. So, who has your ear?
