How it all started...
40 Years of God's Faithfulness
Antioch Wesleyan Church began in 1984 in Concord, California, with a desire to help people know and follow Jesus. After its first few years in Concord, the church moved to Antioch and eventually established its home at the location where we continue to gather today.
For more than four decades, generations of people have worshiped, served, grown in their faith, and shared the good news of Jesus through this church. The people and seasons have changed, but our foundation has remained the same: Jesus Christ and His mission.

Expanding the vision...
A New Season
Today, we are grateful for where God has brought us, but we believe the story of Antioch Wesleyan Church is still being written. Our mission is simple: Love God. Love People. Reach the World.
We want to be a church where people follow Jesus, grow deeply in Him, learn to live for Him in everyday life, and help others do the same. That means looking beyond ourselves, serving our community, developing disciples, and carrying the gospel outside the walls of our church.

Where we are headed...
Making Disciples Who Make Disciples
We believe God has placed our church in Antioch for a reason. As we look toward the future, our desire is not simply to become a bigger church, but to become a more faithful one: centered on Jesus, grounded in Scripture, and committed to His mission.
Our vision is to help people Follow Jesus, Grow in Jesus, and Live for Jesus so they can help others do the same. We want to see people transformed by the gospel, disciples equipped to live out their faith, leaders developed, and everyday followers of Jesus helping others follow Him.
